The story of a photographer

My name is Bryson Eldridge! A photographer and videographer based in Delaware County, PA and Scranton areas. I am the Head Student Athletic Media Coordinator for the University of Scranton Athletics. I am a sophomore Journalism and Electronic Media major while minoring in Sports Communication.

My journey of photography and videography started a month before COVID began when I borrowed my father's camera to take photos at my brother's basketball game. The next week the world was on total shutdown and I lost interest for about a year. As quarantine continued, I began taking pictures of the things around me such as nature and my family, and my love for the art sparked again.

Earlier this year, I began filming my first documentary titled "All In" highlighting Sun Valley Boys basketball's run to the district finals. I ventured out into commercials and completed one for The West Branch Baking Company in Brookhaven, PA. Additionally, I ventured out into drone videography capturing Penn Delco School District facilities.

A year later, my cousin asked me to come to a Hoopgroup basketball tournament in Massachusetts to be a videographer. This was my first sports photography experience and I absolutely loved the pace and creativity, and that's where Bryson Scott Media was born. I continued to work for Hoopgroup throughout the summer then accepted a sports videography position within the athletics department.

Since August, I have been working at the University of Scranton highlighting our athletes performances and being the head videographer for our athletics department.

Though I am very passionate about sports photography and videography, I am happy to capture creative moments through the lens of my camera.
